Football as a protagonist.
Within Laureles Norte are the neighborhoods of El Estadio, La Unidad Deportiva, Los Colores and La Cuarta Brigada. It has three shopping centers and most importantly, the Atanasio Girardot stadium. This means that during football season it becomes a very busy sector. Further north, leaving Laureles is one of the lungs of the city, the Cerro El Volador.
